I think there is some kind of unspoken sartorial shopping rule that you must adhere to when you are walking in to a place such as a Marshalls or a TJ Maxx today. What I mean to say is you can't ever expect to find anything super specific. Take me going the day before I was going out of town and needed to score a pair of inexpensive denim - but what I came home with was anything but - I came home with a $10 gold-threaded oversize(d) coat. Yup. So maybe the only fashion law that should be followed is none at all. Not too hard to swallow ...
